Dr. Flynn's journey into Chinese medicine began in the early 2000s during a personal health challenge. While living in Taiwan, he experienced persistent numbness that extended from his arms down to his legs. After just one acupuncture treatment, he felt significant relief — an experience that sparked a deep curiosity and admiration for the healing power of traditional Chinese medicine.
Motivated by this transformation, he committed to a five-year internship in Taiwan, studying under several esteemed masters of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. This immersive training deepened his understanding of the body’s energetic systems and laid the foundation for his lifelong dedication to the healing arts.
Seeking to broaden his education and serve a wider community, he later moved to the United States to continue his studies. He enrolled at Five Branches University, where he earned his acupuncture license in 2016. His passion for the field continued to grow, leading him back to Five Branches University to complete his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, graduating in 2020.
In addition to acupuncture and Chinese medicine, he specializes in Tai Chi and Qi Gong, traditional movement practices that cultivate balance, vitality, and harmony within the body. He often integrates these practices into his approach to support patients’ overall wellness, stress reduction, and energy flow.

Clinically, he has developed strong specialties in treating insomnia, allergies, and digestive disorders, helping patients restore balance through personalized treatment plans rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.
Today, he shares his passion not only through patient care but also by volunteering his time as an instructor at Five Branches University. His dedication to teaching, learning, and empowering others reflects his unwavering commitment to holistic health and healing.
